TIMBER – SIBERIAN HUSKY – MALE – 3.5-4 YEARS OLD

Hi! I’m TIMBER!

What a stunning example of a Husky this boy is! He has those classic ice blue eyes that melt your heart and make your knees weak.

Speaking of knees, this sweet dog came to us with obvious pain due to back leg mobility issues. Turns out he had completely torn ACLS and shredded meniscus in both back legs. Due to the damage seen in x-ray, these injuries occurred before Timber was a year old. X-rays determined that thankfully his back and hips were in great shape and the issues were isolated to his knees. We had to giggle when our orthopedic surgeon told us that Timber has the lower back and hips of Mick Jagger. Ha ha!!! We scheduled Timber immediately for his first TPLO surgery, which he is now recovering nicely from. Our amazing orthopedic surgeon said Timber will be a whole new dog with these TPLO surgeries and will be back to 90%. He will be able to live a full, happy life with no restrictions.

We were told that Timber, along with Forest and Mirage, were seen dumped out in the Bull Mountains. Sooooo as rescues do, we made room where there was no room, and immediately took these dogs in to give them a better life. Our spidey senses were tingling though, as the story just didn’t jibe, so we did some investigation and found out that this was a lie made by the owners to get us to jump and take these dogs in. We know for a fact that Forest and Timber were obtained by these people when they were small puppies over 3 years ago. Oh well, they are being spoiled now and we will find them homes that will love them forever.

Timber is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations.

He is also crate-trained and potty-trained.

We are committed to keep him in a loving foster home through his surgeries however Timber can be adopted now if someone is dedicated to supporting him through his current recouperation and upcoming surgery in the next few months. He is a wonderful patient!

This stunning good boy will generate a lot of interest so we would like to start accepting applications now to find Timber his forever home.
