RUBEN – ROUGH COAT COLLIE MIX – MALE – 4 YEARS OLD

Look at this hunka hunka handsome floof! Gorgeous Ruben is mostly Collie but we’re pretty sure there is something else in the mix there too… He’s a nice medium-sized boy weighing in at about 60 lbs.

Ruben has a lot of personality and likes to have the last word. He knows basic commands and is very smart. He can be protective of his people in the home and out walking we were told, but is doing really well in his foster home with all of the comings and goings of humans and other doggos.

Ruben gives great puppy kisses and stays off of the furniture, even when invited.

His foster mom says that he is a very polite gentleman.

Ruben is crate trained and potty trained.

Ruben does well with the vet but is not a fan of being groomed and has required muzzling and trazadone in the past for his grooming appointments. Ruben has been recently groomed so his hair is currently shorter than it would normally be. We would ask that Ruben’s new people research and find a groomer that he can build a trusting relationship with and work through his grooming anxiety.

Ruben is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
